A fun tradition Kristy has brought into our marriage is the mandatory visit to Vinces Spaghetti every time we find ourselves in California. We didn't want to dine alone so we asked Shaun, Nicholle, and Toad to come with us to share in the deliciousness. Thanks Shaun & Cole for paying!


This picture really isn't showing the true magnatude of the plate of spaghetti, it was nearly the size of my head which we all know is quite large.

And just in case you were wondering - yes, I did get a free dessert item for wearing grandpa Holman's smoking jacket to the restaraunt.

We had our first annual Holman brothers 1 mile fun run today at the Orem Junior High track. This all started with Matt challenging the Holman brothers to a mile race, and since Matt wasn't here we just timed them and figured we could compare times. So Matt we are gonna need a mile from you pretty soon, hope you're ready! The whole family came out to watch Josh and Logan run even Mao who kept wanting to run with Josh when ever he ran by but got as far as the leash would go and had to stop, it was pretty cute. They both finished the race Josh with a time of 10:06 and Logan with 10:49. They prepared for the race for about ten minutes before it started but had lots of cheering to get them through it. And it must have been pretty tough because they laid in my living room for about an hour afterwards trying not to laugh because whenever they did they would just start weezing and have to drink some water. We have decided to make this a yearly thing so any family member who wants to participate next year better start preparing now! So hope you enjoy the pictures and we hope to see you there next year!

Happy Cinco De Mustache!

The 5k

Well I did it! On Saturday I ran a fundraiser 5k. Well I didn't run the whole thing but I finished a 5k. Josh was going to go with me but he got sick...(yeah right) so I guess we will just have to find another one! So if anyone knows of a 5k around here let us know. And I guess my next step...is a marathon!

Josh's Birthday

Happy Birthday to Josh today the big 30! And still just as HOT as ever! Here he is in his traditional birthday picture. It wasn't a super crazy day because I wasn't sure if he would have to work all night or not. Since he didn't we went to lunch at his new favorite place Rubio's, and dinner at Pier 49. We also caught the Jazz game of course, at least the parts he wanted to watch cause they weren't doing so well. Anyways I hope he had the best b-day ever and knows how much I love him!

Mao's St. Patrick's Day Fashion Show

So I think I am a little too bored here at night with just me and Mao. But I wanted to dress Mao up for St. Patrick's Day. Since I promised Josh that I wouldn't buy Mao any outfits I just had to make do with what I had. The sad thing is My shirt was a little too tight around HIS belly. So I hope you enjoy Mao's St. Patrick's Day fashion show.

Mao's Birthday

Yesterday was Mao's 7th birthday so keeping with our new birthday tradition I took this birthday picture of him. Josh decorated by putting up the birthday banner and of course instead of putting it down by him, I lifted all 40lbs of Mao to the counter (lifting with my back in small jerking motions of course) and took this picture before he jumped off. Mao is so cute I love him! He is the best dog ever and now that he is considered a senior in dog years he gets to retire and just sleep and eat all day long...wait that is all he does already.
