A fun tradition Kristy has brought into our marriage is the mandatory visit to Vinces Spaghetti every time we find ourselves in California. We didn't want to dine alone so we asked Shaun, Nicholle, and Toad to come with us to share in the deliciousness. Thanks Shaun & Cole for paying!
This picture really isn't showing the true magnatude of the plate of spaghetti, it was nearly the size of my head which we all know is quite large.
And just in case you were wondering - yes, I did get a free dessert item for wearing grandpa Holman's smoking jacket to the restaraunt.

ReplyDeleteAll the movie stars of the 1940s wore suits all day and smoking jackets in the evening when they smoked their pipes and drank their martinis, so smoking jackets were cool! Hugh Hefner continued wearing them into the 60s. So that is why, I guess?
ReplyDeleteSo apparently what Dad is trying to say is that either our grandfather smoked a pipe and drank martinis or ran a 'gentleman's magazine'.
