The Olive Bistro

Kristy, her mom, and I found ourselves up in SLC this morning around 11:00am and decided to get a bite to eat. We found a little place across the street from the Capitol Theater called The Olive Bistro that served a selection of sandwiches, coffee's, & deserts and decided to give it a whirl. I ordered a three cheese panini sandwich which was out of this world and both Kristy and her mom agreed that the food was excellent. This little gem has only been around a couple of months and I would highly recommend to anyone in the downtown area to give it a shot, you won't be dissapointed. The picture above is actually a meal from the Olive Bistro not just some random picture of food.

Our condo

Here are a few pics of the new place. The specs are: 870 sq ft, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a deck.
This is the spare bedroom, I don't know why I focused on this corner in particular but oh well.
Here is the other corner of the spare bedroom.
Bathroom picture with the tub.Double vanity which is very nice!

View of the bathroom from the hall doorway.

Hall doorway in front room.
Toad doing some heavy lifting (wisely using small jerking motions with his back) in the front room.

Front room view from the kitchen.

Kitchen appliances.
View of the kitchen from the front room.
Laundry room and back door that leads to deck through the kitchen. The washer, dryer and all of the other appliances were included which was very convenient.
Back door on the deck which goes into the kitchen. It's a big glass door that lets in tons of sunlight.
This is the deck, it's really quite large which will be great if we ever have enough money for a grill and table. I wish Jenny were living nearby so we could purchase a custom outdoor table.

New purchase

I'm sure you have all been dying for those pictures of the new place but unfortunately I just haven't had the time to upload the pictures (maybe I could hire Toad to run my blog since his schedule is pretty much clear for the next couple of months). While we're all waiting for those house pics I thought I would post a picture of the sweet new bed I bought from Ikea. Its from the Malm series and it's super low to the ground which is great for my geriatric dog plus it looks really cool. I also got the nightstands to go with it and of course Toad had the time to pretty much assemble the whole thing for me.

Thanks Toad for your help, it's gonna suck when you go back to school and I become the loser of the family again.
