Our American Fork City Hike

We decided to do a 3 mile hike last Saturday, but it was not in the mountains on some random trail it was through the totally awesome city of American Fork! We found a small bakery about a mile and a half from our house and just decided to explore the city and walk there. We had so much fun walking around and now I know more than two roads around my house. We didn't take Mao because he was busy that day, and I forgot to take my camera but I drove around later and took some pictures of the cool things we saw so at least we would have some thing to show for our travels. So if you have any questions about the city of American Fork feel free to ask because we are now experts on it!

This is a cute little antique shop we stopped in to check out. We found one of those cool books here that is actually a box to store special things in then hide in a library to look like just another book, but then we realized we don't have anything special to put in there or a library so we didn't get it.

This is the bakery we based the trip around it is called FlourgirlDoughboy (and yes I think it is one word) and we had a great breakfast sandwich at 1pm. So if you are looking for some delicious food in or around American Fork you should try this place it was very yummy!

This was an old church building we happened upon. We found out it was built in 1903 and that is when the American Fork first ward was made which is our ward and they met in this building until it was bough by a family that still lives there today and they build those big Organ's that are in all our churches. We were just so surprised to find this really old church in the middle of the city surrounded by homes.
